Fun Run Proceeds help 5 children in need

The 2015 North Ryde Fun proceeds of $16,695 are being distributed to research and treatment programs for youth mental health and other worthy Rotary Projects.

 

This year, Project Director Maggie Alexander, presented $2500 to the Macquarie University Centre for Emotional Health to fund 5 free places on their Cool Kids Program. Centre Director,

 

Prof. Jennifer Hudson, accepted the donation on behalf of the Centre, thanking the Club and saying that it will directly help young people overcome anxiety and depression.
