How the time flies. Only five weeks to the Carols!
Last week we had the opportunity to discuss the proposed changes to our by-laws. We will vote on these at the AGM on 2 December. Pam has done a great job in putting the proposed changes together. Many thanks. Please read them through ( see here) and if you have suggestions send them through to Pam or me so we can have a final version for approval.
We didn't have time for further work on our visioning so will look at that after the AGM.
We will also be voting for our 2017/18 board at the AGM. A few members have said they would be happy to be on the board but we don't yet have a volunteer for president. Please consider if you could serve in this way. I am happy to discuss what the role entails. It is not as daunting as you may think. We will also have six months in which to work together so it is a gradual settling into.
Allen Horrell, our ADG, visited us last Friday with information about the conference. Last week I gave you a web address which didn't work -?try this one!
