More than 28,000 people have been killed and tens of thousands are left injured or homeless after the magnitude 7.8 earthquake struck Turkiye and Syria on Monday 6th February 2023.

We help communities affected by Major Disasters with Smart Aid.

Our aid involves consultations to ensure we are providing the help the community want. This may be emergency shelter, providing building materials to help rebuild homes or providing clean drinking water, with our 'Skyhydrant Rapid Response Packs'.

Disaster Aid Australia is in contact with our closest Disaster Aid International partner, Disaster Aid Europe, who have strong contacts with local Rotary Clubs in the area, which are helping on the ground.

It is possible to get aid directly through to those in need with our partnership networks, such as Disaster Aid Europe and in-country Rotary Clubs.
