To whom it may concern,
I write to encourage your organisation to take part in an event to be held at Macquarie Park on Thursday 28 November 2024.
The event is entitled “Make a Stand” and aims to encourage the local community and businesses to make a stand against domestic violence.
Arranged by the Ryde Hunters Hill Domestic, Family and Sexual Violence Committee, the event will be held on 28 November 2024 from 11am to 1pm where participants will join to make a stand against domestic violence.
The event, which is now held annually, will also mark the commencement of the 16 days of Activism against gender based violence which is an international campaign.
Through awareness campaigns, educational programs, and strategic leadership, Council aims to create a culture of respect and equality and steadfastly supports initiatives such as those above which promoting safe and supportive environments for all individuals affected by domestic violence.
If you would like further information regarding the Make a Stand event or to register the intention of your business to take part, please visit the Northern Centre website.
I look forward to the participation of your organisation and hope that by all working together, the scourge of domestic violence in all its forms, can be arrested and that incidents of DV in the community are reduced.
