25 September 2020

Dear Fellow Club Members and Friends,

It was a busy week for our club this week. Keep it up!

At our last meting we were pleased to have Rev. Bell Crews from The Exodus Foundation share on how they are supporting the community during COVID restrictions.   Less than an hour was not enough!  I hope he can join us again in the future. Besides that, there is planning for us to support and work with The Exodus Foundation soon. Thanks to other Rotarian and non-Rotarian attendees. We had  a total attendance of 30 in the Zoom Meeting.

Last Wednesday night, we visited the NSW Rural Fire Service Warringah HQ at Terry Hills with the Rotary Club of Macquarie Park. Thanks Bernie for organising with Shannon. It was a perfect weather for all of us to watch their training session and tour the HQ with light refreshments afterwards. This was a catch-up opportunity with the RFS as they were out for service and unable to attend the Carols last year. Some of the photos are in the photo album link in this bulletin.

Fundraising committee meeting was another working activity this week. Our Club Annual Celebration dinner invitation has been sent to all of you and other guests. It will be on 24 OCT 2020.
See attachment as well.

Due to the COVID situation, we are asking members for a voluntary donation of $15 per month starting from July 2020 as funding for our club administration operations and costs. It is optional to consider paying since our Zoom meetings began in March 2020.

Happy big birthday to our member Pat Italiano from Bendigo Bank.

My quote for this week: It’s a Good Week to have a Good Week.

COVID-19 social distancing and working criteria will be in place.

Can your members assist please? If so we would require and appreciate up to five members of your club to be available on Thursday 22nd October between 10:00am – 2:00pm to assist.
