Hope everyone had a relaxing Queen’s Birthday long weekend.
Thanks to our guest speaker last Friday, City of Ryde Mayor Jerome Laxale.
City of Ryde has been supporting our club events for years such as the Seniors' Christmas Luncheon and Carols on the Common.
During the meeting, we discussed how we work together with our local Council to help the community and our Country students IT visit program for 2022. The Mayor explained about the new development of the Civil Centre which has started, Cox’s Road upgrade, parks upgrades, and the developments in North Ryde and Macquarie Park, etc. Such a lot happening.
Our next fund-raising event will be a Bunning BBQ at Gladesville on 19th June 2021 this Saturday.
