North Ryde Rotary Trivia Night - 7 March 2020
It's Time to Book Your Table for the Rotary Club of North Ryde - This Saturday Night 7 March 2020!

We are looking forward to a fun night on Saturday evening. Once again,  Stephen Sim will be our Trivia Master and is preparing a great night of trivia for us.

We have some great prizes that have been donated for our raffle as well as some fabulous Silent Auction Items including a 2015 Signed Waratahs World Cup jersey and a Sydney FC jersey signed by the 2020 team!

This is an important fundraiser for our Youth programs that we support throughout the year including the Youth Exchange program and the annual Country students IT Visit held in May. Each year we support an outbound and an inbound student through the Rotary Youth Exchange Program. This year Jared Sullivan is our outbound student who left for Sweden in January for a 12 month exchange. Our club is currently hosting Palmyre Desmanez from France. Palmyre arrived in July 2019 and will stay for 12 months with host families and attend Ryde Secondary College.

In May, we organise for up to 8 Year 9 students from Country NSW to come to Sydney for a week to visit a number of IT businesses and Universities in Macquarie Park and the CBD.  The students are hosted by Rotarians and visit companies including Microsoft Google, Optus, IBM, Facebook and Cisco throughout the week. We also organise activities including bowling and a trip in to see Vivid during the week. This is always a very popular and valuable program for the students and for club members who host or attend the visits and activities.

This year we also will donate some of the proceeds from the Trivia night to the Rotary Bushfire appeal.

So if you have not already booked, please do so as there is still time to organise a group of friends to come along!
