The result of the Bunnings BBQ fundraiser that was held last Saturday 27 September 2025 is: The club made a profit of $2,554 on the day, another great result for the club. The BBQ was publicised as raising funds for the End Polio Now campaign. $2,000 of the funds raised will be our annual donation to this campaign. We sold around 75kgs of sausages (900), and 253 drinks. It was another busy day for those involved.
I would like to thank the wonderful team from our club for their continued support and enthusiasm on the day. More helpers would be greatly appreciated. In particular I would like to thank those that were there for the whole day, from the start at 7am to the clean up and returning items to the North Ryde RSL Club storage after 5pm.
Rob; Mandy; Peter, Pam and Nick. We had wonderful support at different times during the day from: Bernie; Ian (Mandy's husband), Sandeep and Mei (our Youth Exchange Student). We also had help during the day from Nomungerel Ariunjargal and Archer Ha, the 2 students from Marsden High School that we are sponsoring for the Science Experience, being held at Macquarie University during the school holidays. Thank you all for your help, time and effort in supporting our club.
