This year the Rotary Club of North Ryde has made a donation of $4000 to the Centre for Emotional Health at Macquarie University. These funds were raised through the North Ryde eFun Run for Mental Health that we organised in April this year. This donation will support the Cool Kids Program at the Centre for Emotional Health, enabling families, who otherwise could not afford, to access this valuable program for children experiencing anxiety.
We had planned to make a presentation to representatives from the Centre for Emotional Health at the Annual Celebration Dinner last Friday evening. However as the dinner has been postponed, the Board agreed the donation was to be made directly before the end of this financial year. Below is a letter of thanks from the University, I have been advised the funds will be allocated directly to the Centre.
