In an exclusive event Australian business icons and veteran philanthropists Steve Killelea and Dick Smith will meet for the first time to discuss how they strive to create the world each man wants to live in.
In this free online event moderated by veteran ABC and SBS journalist Lissa McMillan, Steve Killelea and Dick Smith will discuss their lives, their approaches to business and philanthropy and also their latest books: Steve Killelea’s Peace in the Age of Chaos and Dick Smith’s My Adventurous Life.
After a highly successful career in technology and international business development, Steve Killelea now concentrates on peace and sustainable development. He has established an internationally renowned global think tank, the Institute for Economics & Peace (IEP) and a private family charity, The Charitable Foundation, which now has over three million direct beneficiaries.
Dick Smith also enjoyed a long and lucrative business career, as the founder of Dick Smith Electronics, Australian Geographic and Dick Smith Foods. He is a record-breaking aviator, philanthropist and political activist. He has also founded a media production company with the intention of producing films about global issues and is a fellow of the Committee for Skeptical Inquiry.
