ROMAC Patient Mourine

Mourine and her mother Ekila are leaving to return to the Solomon Islands after a very long stay at Ronald Mc Donald as all the treatments including operation,  radiation, speech therapy were done  in the Children’s hospital in Randwick. As always we had a wonderful team of Doctors looking after our ROMAC patient.

 

Both were assisted by a number of volunteers to ensure  that their stay would be as pleasant as possible ; they have been away from their family since February .

 

I think that we all have grown very fond of both Mourine and her mother Ekila.  Our best wishes go to Mourine  who will need to catch up on her studies after years of not attending school due to her appearance.
