Happy New Rotary Year!

Thank you for your generous support during 2018/19.
Congratulations on your active participation in our Foundation’s grants programs to support your Club projects

The final result on Giving to the Annual Fund and End Polio Now are not yet available but we will compare favourably with the other ANZ Districts.

We will probably lead the other Australia and New Zealand Districts in Granting. In 2018/19, 31 Clubs received District Grants and 8 Clubs received Global Grants, So 39 Club projects have done so much more good due to the support of your Giving to our Foundation. We can all be happy about that. I will give you more information about our 2018/19 successes next month.

PDG David Rands has completed his term as District Foundation Chair. David has been an enthusiastic leader of, and donor to, our Foundation. On behalf of District 9685 and the District TRF Team, I thank him for his service and wish him well as he moves to the role of Area TRF Coordinator for Zone 8.

The 2019/20 year has started at a pace! Our Grants Committee Chair, PP David Dean, has received 31 - 2019/20 District Grant applications from our Clubs. In addition, there are 11 Clubs progressing Global Grant applications through the system. A requirement to obtain a Foundation Grant is to gain Club accreditation by attending a TRF seminar. 16 Clubs did not attend the seminar conducted at District Assembly. Another seminar will be held on Sunday 21 July.
The last chance, do not miss out…
