In the last year the drought has affected RDA Ryde with a 67% increase in horse feed costs as we do not have the luxury of agistment so all feed for our horses is purchased. Feed is a major expense for our Centre.
Due to the strong support from our community in the last year we have increased our horses from 6 to 8 horses so we can deliver more riding sessions and this decision was taken knowing the great support from people like yourselves.
With increased donations we were able to do maintenance items and carry out some capital works.
The Variable Height Mounting platform you are supporting will allow safe and comfortable matching of our horses and rider.
