The North Ryde Fun Run for Youth Mental Health is led by the Rotary Club of North Ryde in partnership with the Rotary Clubs of Ryde and Macquarie Park and Macquarie University's  Lifespan Health  & Wellbeing Research Centre and KidsXpress.

The proceeds will go to Australian Rotary Health, for research into youth mental health and support programs; Macquarie University's  Lifespan Health  & Wellbeing Research Centre's  Cool Kids Program and KidsXpress.

The event is open to the local and broader community, university and school students.  Students, their parents and siblings, and the many residents and businesses of the area will be invited to enter the eFun Run, paying a small entry donation.

Entrants nominate a distance they will challenge themselves to cover during the week. They can walk, run or ride a bike in their own time, at their own pace, individually or in a team.

Each entrant or team can seek sponsorship for their challenge from their families, friends and colleagues through the eFun Run website. To register go to the website and click on sign up and create your fundraising profile:

This year we are again, partnering with MQ Sports and Aquatic Centre who will be running a special Parkrun event on. Saturday 23 May  to raise funds for the Macquarie Lifespan Health and WellbeingResearch  Centre. The three Rotary Clubs will be organising a BBQ at the ParkRun event this year from 7am until 10am. We are asking members and friends to volunteer to assist at this BBQ. This is a great opportunity to promote Rotary and our clubs as well as raise funds for this worthy cause. If you can assist please let Garry Maloney or myself know.

To conclude the eFun Run week, a guided walk around Annandale has been organised by our own historian,Bob Selinger OAM commencing at 10am.. If you would like to join the walk please contact Bob on his mobile 0403003257 or email peternathan64@gmail.com. Lunch will be booked at the Tramsheds at the conclusion of the tour, please let Bob know if you wish to join us for lunch.
