Dear Members and Friends,
We have two important fundraising events coming up over the next month which we hope members and friends will support.
Our first fundraiser will be the BBQ and Book Stall on Saturday 22 February at Cox's Road Mall. Helpers are needed to collect the books for the stall from the Gladesville Kennards storage unit on the Friday afternoon as well as setting up, cooking and sales on the Saturday morning from 7a.m. until 2p.m. and of course packing up. The next fundraising event that we are planning is the Trivia Night on Saturday 7 March at the Clive Austin Conference Centre, Royal Rehab. Once again we have the wonderful support of Stephen Sim as Trivia Master. It should be a fun night with games and prizes! For more information see flyer in this bulletin.
We are seeking donations of prizes for the raffle and possibly a silent auction. If you have some items you would like to donate please bring them along to a club breakfast meeting or contact me on email woodmal50@hotmail.com or mobile 0400803417.
Don't forget to tell your friends and family to come along to the BBQ and buy a sausage sandwich and a good book our two or maybe organise a table of 8 to 10 for the trivia night. Funds raised will go towards our club Rotary Youth projects and we will also be collecting donations for the Rotary Bushfire appeal.
