National Volunteers Week 16 22 May

The Centre for Volunteering would like to say happy National Volunteer Week 2022 to all volunteers, and an especially big thank you to our amazing volunteers. Volunteers are an integral part of our organisation and we welcome this opportunity to acknowledge and celebrate all they add to our team.   
 
National Volunteer Week is Australia's annual celebration to acknowledge the phenomenal contribution of volunteers and volunteering. This year’s theme is Better Together. Together, through volunteering, we are changing communities for the better.  We are, Better Together.

We love starting our National Volunteer Week events by officially launching the NSW Volunteer of the Year Awards. 
 
We have now recognised well over a million volunteers and in our 16th year we hope the celebrations will be even bigger. 
 
We have included a new award category this year, a Not-for-Profit Voluntary Governance Award. We are striving to recognise all of the 4.9 million volunteers across NSW.
