Viva Mexico

Even before our Mexican Exchange Student arrives, on Sunday afternoon we had the privilege of trading banners with a Rotary Club of Mexico - the Club Rotario Plateros Centro Historico in District 4170.

 

Located in the historical district right in the heart of the city of Mexico, this club has 40 people. The Club banner shows the image of the Palacio de Bellas Artes. One of the Social Committee members is Mr Mendez, father of Xany Mendez, who requested his daughter make contact with us.

 

Xany Mendez has been in Australia for the past 6 months while studying a course in animation at Macquarie University. She loves our country and intends to come back to do her Masters degree next year. So we may have the opportunity of seeing her again.
